What that means for you
- Windows or Linux
- One installer sets up the database, the service and the firewall rules. macOS is not finished.
- A database you can read
- PostgreSQL on your own machine. Any tool that reads PostgreSQL can read your shop's history.
- One machine or several
- The same installer sets up a server, a workstation, or both on one PC. A one-man shop does not need a second machine to run this.
- Move it when you replace the machine
- Clear the old one off your account page and the new one takes over. No phone call, no waiting for a business day.
- If a license lapses
- Finish the job on the bench and take the payment. You cannot start new work. Reading your data and backing it up are never blocked.
