For the half of the job that does not happen at a desk.
What it is for
- Photograph the part, onto the ticket
- Straight onto that job, under the name of whoever took it, instead of onto a camera roll nobody can find.
- It sizes them first
- So a year of snapshots does not fill the server disk.
- Opens with a fingerprint
- Nobody is typing a password with gloves on. If it fails, you type it.
- Same login, same permissions
- Somebody who cannot see money on a workstation cannot see it on a phone either.
- It does not replace the desktop
- It covers the jobs done standing up. Writing estimates and running the month is desk work. Android today, on phones and tablets — iPhone and iPad are planned and not built.
